At Golden Pawline Cattery, we are a family-run, home-based cattery with over 15 years of experience dedicated exclusively to raising healthy, affectionate, and well-socialized Munchkin kittens. Our passion lies in ensuring that every kitten is not only beautiful and physically sound, but also ready to thrive in their forever home.

This adoption policy outlines everything you need to know,  from your initial inquiry to the exciting moment your new Munchkin companion joins your family. Your satisfaction and your kitten’s lifelong well-being are our top priorities.

 Application Process

Start by completing our simple online adoption application. It helps us understand your lifestyle, household, and preferences so we can match you with the most compatible Munchkin kitten.

 Matching You with the Right Munchkin

Once your application is reviewed and approved, we’ll introduce you to kittens that best align with your needs, whether you’re looking for a lap-loving companion or an adventurous little explorer. We also offer video calls or, when possible, in-person visits to help you get acquainted.

 Selecting the Perfect Kitten

We do our best to honor preferences like coat color, leg length (standard or non-standard), and temperament. If your chosen kitten isn’t the right fit, your reservation deposit can be transferred to a future litter.

Reservation Deposit

A $600 nonrefundable deposit is required to reserve a kitten. This guarantees your spot and allows us to begin preparations for your kitten’s transition home.

Adoption Contract & Final Payment

Before pickup or delivery, you’ll receive a comprehensive adoption agreement detailing health guarantees and care expectations. Final payment is due one week before pickup or shipment. All payments must be made in USD.

When Your Kitten is Ready

Our Munchkin kittens are typically ready to go home at 11 weeks of age or older, once they’re fully weaned, vaccinated, and emotionally prepared for their new adventure.

 Pickup & Delivery Options

Local Pickup & Delivery

We offer local delivery or meetups within a reasonable distance. Delivery fees usually range from $200 to $300, depending on location.

Nationwide Shipping (U.S. & Canada)

We offer safe and secure delivery across the U.S. and Canada using experienced pet transport professionals. Delivery costs typically range from $400 to $800, depending on distance and availability.

Weather Considerations

For safety reasons, we do not ship during extreme weather conditions (below 25°F or above 85°F). In such cases, we’ll communicate with you to reschedule safely.

Tracking & Updates

Once your kitten is on their way, we’ll provide updates and delivery confirmation so you’re informed every step of the journey.

International Adoptions

We welcome international adopters! Please contact us in advance to discuss your country’s import requirements and available delivery options.

 Veterinary Health Screenings

All Golden Pawline kittens are examined by licensed veterinarians and receive age-appropriate vaccinations and deworming. Our breeding cats are tested for genetic and infectious conditions to ensure every kitten is born healthy.

 1-Year Health Guarantee

We stand behind every kitten we raise with a written one-year health guarantee covering congenital and hereditary conditions diagnosed within the first year of ownership.

Before your Munchkin goes home, you’ll sign a legal adoption contract outlining responsibilities on both sides to ensure your kitten is set up for a lifetime of love, safety, and care.
